Group Registration

Instructions

To register a group of 5 or more attendees and access the group discount, please select group size below.

If you are attending, please ensure your name is listed first as the Group Co-ordinator under the Group Contact section.

If you are not attending but registering on behalf of others, tick “I am not attending” and enter your details under Primary Contact Details. You will receive a copy of all attendee confirmation emails.

Enter the correct email for each attendee, not your admin email. This email:

  • Links the registration to their contact record if they are a member.
  • Prevents duplicate records and missing information.
  • Keeps CPD points and event history accurate.

Using the wrong email can stop membership recognition, trigger duplicate checks that may cancel a booking, and overwrite information linked to that address.

Tip: If an attendee has updated their membership email, use the one they use for the member portal.

Location:
Cliftons Brisbane, Level 28

About:

This workshop will focus on the fundamentals of applying the ASC NEPM to risk assessment for contaminated sites.  With an emphasis on the overarching framework presented in the ASC NEPM, the workshop will also draw on additional Australian guidance and resources, including NHMRC and ANZG.

Participants will be shown how these frameworks are applied to the derivation of the HILs and the EILs, and what assumptions are adopted for the different land use criteria.  Using realistic case studies and hands-on exercises, participants will apply the ASC NEPM framework and use the HIL and EIL calculators in practical tutorial sessions.

Ideal for professionals from consulting, government, council, and academia looking to build confidence in applying risk assessment to environmental projects.  The workshop is intended to be foundational level, and will not cover advanced topics such as vapour intrusion modelling, chemical specific assessments of toxicity, etc.

Lunch, afternoon tea, and session materials will be provided. Attendees should: review ASC NEPM Schedules B4 and B5, bring a laptop with Microsoft Excel, and download the HIL and EIL calculators prior to the workshop.
